La fotografia di Frank Horvat incontra le Terme di Caracalla
Seventy years of aesthetic and cultural research disseminated across 72 images that span the spaces of the Terme di Caracalla . From September 11, 2026, to January 10, 2027, a major exhibition by photographer Frank Horvat , who has shaped the imagination by rewriting fashion and travel photography, opens.
The exhibition, promoted by the Soprintendenza Speciale di Roma and organized by Electa, is curated by Studio Horvat (Fiammetta Horvat and Mathilde Oudin) and Nunzio Giustozzi.
The exhibition is divided into three sections: portraits dedicated to the female universe, displayed in one of the gymnasiums of the Baths of Caracalla, with a focus on the photoshoots created by the photographer at the Galleria L'Obelisco at the invitation of Irene Brin and Gaspero del Corso. The second section is again dedicated to women with True Likenesses , set in the vaulted rooms of the Baths, while the third focuses on the Goethe in Sicily series created in the early 1980s.
The volume, published by Electa, follows and explores the three sections of the exhibition with writings by Horvat and a recollection by Ferdinando Scianna that opens the text.
